Grey Fox Inn Wedding Ceremonies
- Take full advantage of our 7.5 acres and meadow with views of Mount Mansfield and the Little River
- Ceremonies can be conducted in the gazebo in the meadow. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres can be served by our outdoor pool or in the tented area.
- Outdoor weddings at the Grey Fox Inn can begin as early as 12:00 noon and can have live music until 10:00 pm.
- The Grey Fox Inn provides a wedding coordinator to help you with details and arrangements and to help you direct adjunct professional services.
Receptions
- Outdoor receptions imbue your wedding with the quintessential natural surroundings of Vermont. The tented reception located in the meadow behind the Inn provides views of Mt. Mansfield and the Little River.
- Our wedding coordinator at the Grey Fox Inn will coordinate all details regarding the outdoor tent configuration, tables and chairs, glassware, bar services, dance floor, and lights.
- Indoor receptions can be accommodated for parties of up to 56 guests. Depending on your needs the reception could take place in our cellar lounge or our Cafe room.
Food & Drink
- Though our restaurant does provide catering to most events at the Inn, we recognize that one of the things that makes Stowe so special is the number of unique and specialty catering services and bakeries in and around town. The Grey Fox is happy to accommodate third party caterers if you so choose.
- Catering generally involves providing all food, as well wait staff and bus staff to serve and clear food.
- All liquor, beer and wine will be provided by the Grey Fox Inn.
Rehearsal dinners can be provided for parties of up to 56.
- Dinners are typically prix fixe menus and have a median price of $38.00 with all liquor, wine, and beer provided a la carte.
- The wedding party has the option of selecting from our catering menu or creating a unique meal of your liking, subject to approval of our restaurant manager.
- Smaller rehearsal parties may have the option of ordering from our dinner menu without a prix fixe price.

Wedding Guest Accommodations
- The Grey Fox Inn has 38 rooms in a variety of configurations and building locations.
- The Mountain View building has three condo units with two bedrooms and baths and 13 hotel style units, all with private baths and views of the mountain. The Main Inn has 17 hotel rooms with a variety of styles and sizes, as well as indoor access to the restaurants, pub, pool, and fitness area.
- A minimum number of rooms will be included in the price of the wedding. A wedding of 100-150 people will be priced to include all 16 rooms of the Mountain View building for two nights, inclusive of condos, fireplace Jacuzzi rooms, and a complementary room for the Bride and Groom.
- A wedding of 50-100 people will be priced to include 12 hotel rooms from the Main Inn or Mountain View buildings for two nights and a complementary room for the Bride and Groom.
- A wedding of fewer than 50 people will be priced to include 10 hotel rooms from the Main Inn or Mountain View buildings excluding condos.
- Additional rooms will be made available at a special wedding group rate. All rooms are subject to standard hotel deposits and cancellation terms.
